It's been way too long between blogs. Between wedding applications, special event applications and fashion show applications, I have been busy! But I wouldn't trade this for anything...I am living my dream!

I was asked by an art student to help create a modern geisha look for her Senior art exibit here at TAMUK and I think it turned out great. Jackie-san was so much fun to work with and let me do my thang! Creative liberty is a grand thing. :0)

Fashion shows are few and far between here in the small town I live in, so when I was asked to do the make-up for a local boutique's spring 2010 fashion show, I jumped at the chance and I am so glad I did. I learned so much that day. What to do next time...what not to do. The great thing about this experience was I had creative reign, again, to get as funky as I wanted. Some of the looks I like, some I'm not to keen about after seeing the pics, but again, I learned. Learning is key in this business and right now I am the biggest sponge out there! I want to learn! I've been blessed to have been given the opportunities to showcase my talent and for this I am wholeheartedly grateful and thirsty for more.
